Arstides the defender of the Christian Faith

Arstides was one of second century men. He was a Christian philosopher and defender from Athens. Iosabios believed that he presented his defense to Hadrian, Although others said that he presented it to Antonius Pius. In his defense he pointed out that Christians have a better and full understanding of the nature of God than to pagans, Greece and the Jews. They alone, done love Him in accord with His Commandments. He defended the existence of God and His Everlasting Eternity. He also included a petition addressed to all those who had no knowledge of God to approach the Christian faith to be ready to appear before the Eradication of God. May the Blessings of his prayers be with all of us Amen. Reference: F.L. Cross: The Early Christian Frs, London 1960, p 47
