Athnasius Bishop Of Koos

He was a bishop during the Thirteenth Century. One of his features is being keen to preserve the Coptic language. He wrote an introduction using the coastal and Upper Egypt slag language. The title of this introduction was “The medal of liberty in explanatory science”. He also wrote a second book about the civil rights and a third the Sacrament of anointing with the Sacred oil (EL Mayroon). His third book included a detailed trip from Cairo to El Natroon Valley where he participated with the Pope in the consecration of the sacred oil (The Mayroon) at the monastery of St Makaar the Great.
