"we should remember the poor"

(Galatians 2:10).

Sometimes we ask God : why did You allow some of your children to be poor ?You can make them all rich if You wish .You can put bags of gold in front of their houses or allow them to have a big income. And You can spread round their houses a lot of fortunes like what You did with Israel's people that You sent them a lot of food from Heaven to eat and be filled .aren't You a loving father? and in all that we forgot to ask ourselves.

God is a loving father more than we think . " he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."( Matthew 5:45)"He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry"( Psalms 147:9)

" Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"(Mathew 6:26)" causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth" (Psalms104:14)

And poverty-like disease-is an evident that we live in a world which is not perfect. However " Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish."  (Mathew18:14) the father sent his son in order that we can have life and we can have better (prosperious life). "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32)

God is a loving father who is working hard to make our world reach perfection. And he doesn't do that for the sake of the poor and the miserable only but for the sake of the rich too who live in luxury in order not to be poor and miserable. Jesus our Lord had said " My Father worketh hitherto, and I work." (John5:17).

Do we share the Father in His work in order to decrease the pains of the poor and the miserable.

And we who were given many things from God have a chance to show our love to god the father and to our Lord Jesus Christ. While we show our love with prayers and praise. We prove this love by serving those who suffer from poverty. If we really love Christ let's take care of those who are very dear to His Heart. Let's look to the service of the poor not as a duty but an honour that we share the Father in His work, and relief Christ's sheep remembering what Jesus Christ who has all the Glory said : " Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. " (Matthew 25:40).
